Keanu reeves
History

Keanu Reeves started his acting career with small roles in movies, TV shows and plays. One of them being My Own Private Idaho (1981), which is loosely inspired from the Shakespeare's play, Henri IV. His performance is quite unique and I think it's one of his best role. He also starred in the play Woflboy (1984), in which he has a relationship with a boy who believes he's a werewolf. At the time, it became quite cult in the Toronto's gay community. There are some pictures of the play online (link), but sadly there was no recording.
His first steps in Holywood were with the movie Point Break (1991), an action film about some bank roberies (I haven't watched it yet 😭). He then stayed on track with Speed (1994), another action film where he plays a cop trying to stop some kind of mad terrorist from blowing everything up, the movie is quite tense and energetic and the plot isn't that common, it kinda gives Die Hard vibes.

His real international and generational breakthrought was with The Matrix (1999), in which he plays the famous Neo. He then kept going with The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions (2003). He also starred in Constantine (2005), an adaption of the comic Hellblazer, in which he plays John Constantine, a sort of exorcist fighting Lucifer.
He came back into the spotlight with John Wick (2014), in which he demonstrated some insane level of combat choregraphy. The franchise kept going better and better with John Wick 2 (2017), 3 (2019) and 4 (2023). He also played as Johnny Silverhand in the role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 (2020). As he said it himself in an interview, acting in a video game is a lot different from acting in a movie, and I think he did it incredibly well, being one of the most, if not the most iconic character of the game.
He's the prettiest ![]()
